BootStrap Theater Foundation was founded by Sharmon J. Hilfinger in 1998 to help theater artists bootstrap their way to visibility. Our mission is to create and produce new plays. We specialize in collaborative theater making which means that we dwell in the process, rather than hurry into product.  We abandon hierarchy and listen to all voices, watch all ideas. Our plays emphasize ensemble acting, music and movement.  Arctic Requiem: The Story of Luke Cole and Kivalina will be the thirteenth world premiere production we have nurtured from page to stage.
